Redeveloping and teaching of the Early Childhood Education learning programme to support play based learning with 3-4 year old children. Implementing hands-on activities that encouraged creativity and critical thinking while supporting curriculum goals.

• Inclusive mainstream teaching of students (aged 8-11 years) learning English as a second language. Implementation of Levels 2 and 3 of the Cook Islands curriculum.
• Differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs, ensuring each student had an equal opportunity for success.
• Integration of 1:1 digital devices and online learning as the Cook Islands first model class.
• Creation of a school-wide Learning Support Register to identify and better cater for special needs and at-risk students. Additional support sought from other agencies.

Working with groups of students, Years 7/8 (aged 11-12 years) with a specific focus on extending learning for high achieving students as well as improving outcomes for students below the expectations.

• Development and standardisation of a school curriculum to include overviews, planning, assessment,school processes and procedures to meet the Cook Islands Ministry of Education requirements.

Daily teaching of English Literacy and Numeracy to students learning English as a second language.

• Implemented differentiated instruction strategies at Levels 1 - 2 of the New Zealand curriculum, ensuring all students were able to access the curriculum and make progress in their learning.
