• I’m Currently working at Cook Islands Funeral Services as a Casual. Usually help out in the Weekends or in my free time.
• Assisted in the preparation of bodies for visitation or burial, adhering to strict standards of care.

Pacific Media Network

I Started working at Pacific Media Network since 2019. Was there youngest employee working for Cook Island Radio Night and hosting the youth section. I still am a current employee working weekends to send Footage of News or weekly updates on what’s been happening in Rarotonga and abroad into the outer islands.

• I've been on live radio since I started my first year of college in 2019
• Brining an incite of what youth see everyday, especially in our Cook Islands community
• Being young and growing up in and around radio, made me more confident in speaking to other people, weather it be in front of people, or from the sideline
• To this, this has given me many opportunity to explore the media world, meet new and famous people, upcoming superstars, politicians, and many more hardworking people.

• Adapted quickly to changes in newsroom processes, implementing new technologies and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Maintained professionalism under pressure during live broadcasts, effectively handling unexpected situations or technical difficulties.
• Developed feature stories which showcased human-interest angles related to national headlines.
• Supported public relations efforts by representing the station at community events and charity functions.

• Earlier this year (2023) I founded a Cook Island youth group based in Mangere
• This group was formed because of the talents our young cook Island people had
• There was no place to produce it and portray doing what they loved
• So me and my hard working team went to three different schools and introduced our idea to the cook Island youth, and we received good feedback, with this we were able to obtain 50 passionate cook Island students to participate in this program, all from different backgrounds
• Sadly my time got called up, so I had to pass the role to my fellow brother who soon took charge, I still play a big role in the group, as the chair of the board for Te Rere Nei Te Manu

• This Job was what I've wanted to do for a long time
• I achieved my goal working there because of my hard passion on helping families and communities
• Working with different backgrounds, and different religions opened my eyes, because it made me realize of the different way people react to natural situations
• It has been my goal to help and serve families from all different backgrounds
• Sadly all good things must come to and end
• I ended my four month term due to the effects of returning back to school, however I do insist that if ever they need help, I'm just a phone call away.
